The Design Process
Landscape design is an artform and a science, the best landscapes are based on analysis of the existing landscape and creative thought. We make the best use of what your landscape offers, while ensuring that it suits your tastes and requirements. But most importantly, we design a landscape that expresses you and your home.

Phased Approach to Design
A good landscape design can be broken into stages that proceed on a timeline and budget that suits your particular needs. You may have an overall budget figure in mind, but with a phased- approach, you do not have to spend it all at once. Planning in phases allows you to better manage your expenses.

1. Initial Consultation
The landscape design process begins with the initial consultation conducted at the site. The completion of our ‘Dream Garden Questionnaire’ and a visual tour through landscape pictures allow us to understand your desires and set priorities for your landscape goals. We will discuss the existing landscape to address problems and possibilites.

Our initial consultation is thorough. The duration of the initial consultation is 2 hours. Our attention to detail allows for a truly custom landscape design for you and your landscape environment.

The consultation forms the basis for further development of the design process. A fee is charged for the initial consultation. Should you decide to use our design services, the fee will be credited toward the master plan phase.
